We are two New Orleanians who love a good meal and are headed to Melbourne in a month – restaurant suggestions there????
Hi Lela – I would suggest eating at one of the Movida restaurants for tapas, in the city Syracuse is great and very “Melbourne” while in St Kilda I have always loved Ciccolina which is an Italian place. You can’t book there but get a seat in the back bar over a drink and you won’t have to try too long. If you want something really high end Vue De Monde is Melbourne’s most high end (and most expensive!) restaurant. Make sure you have a souvlaki as well (try one from Stalactites) and visit the great coffee shops and cafes in Degraves street in the city centre. Have a great trip!
WE LOVE YOUR BLOG! BUT IT MAKES SOO HUNGRY!
check out our blog and give us some loving!
Hi God Save Les Filles – Great name – thanks for stopping by
Hi! Have you ever tried Bond & Brook in Fenwicks (off Bond Street)? I really enjoyed it. I would really like to know what you think, ’cause I love your blog and reviews!
The link to SW19 takes you to SW15.
There are far more interesting places in Putney than the Normandy: Enoteca Turi on the High St specialises in regional Italian food (not cheap), and Ma Goa on the Upper Richmond Rd is an excellent Indian.
Anon – No I haven’t been there – thanks for the recommendation – one to add to the list.
Rg – Thanks for letting me know and for the Putney tips.
Hey, we would love to tell you more about our Barrio Brunch Club and invite you to come down and try it out!
What’s the best way to contact you to send you over some more info?
