| A classic Christmas cheese board – that’s Blacksticks Blue on the left |
The story behind the cheese is that Richard and Annie Butler purchased the farm back in 1932 and then started making cheese to sell at the local markets. They created Blacksticks Blue in 2003 and now you can find the cheese in miniature whole truckles in Sainsbury’s and Booths in the UK this Christmas. Australian and US readers sadly I don’t think you can get Blacksticks Blue here but you may be able to get some recipe inspiration anyway from the Blacksticks Blue website. Being new age cheesemongers you can also find the Butlers on Facebook and Twitter.
Bring on the Christmas cheese board!
