eHarmony says dating is a lot like cooking in many ways; both of them need the right ingredients to create the best results.  When we think back to our best dating experiences, it’s usually that everything has come together in exactly the right way to make the occasion truly special.  A great date is not only about the atmosphere of a romantic restaurant or the lovely backdrop of a stroll down the beach.  It’s also about the chemistry and connection between you and your match.  A dash of excitement and a pinch of romance… what’s your ideal match for the perfect date?

Want to get cooking today? I’ve teamed up with eHarmony and KitchenwareDirect to offer you the chance to win $250 of vouchers to use on cookware of your choice at KitchenwareDirect.  There are two $250 vouchers to be won.

  1. Three perfect ingredients for a first date (‘ingredients’ interpreted loosely): peaches and haloumi skewered over the grill, a warm, breezy evening, and a chilled bottle of riesling to help things along. Oh man, I miss summer already!

  2. Recipe for the perfect/good/happy partnership? Cooking with alcohol (sometimes) helps. Also, let the cook cook. And, don’t use msg too much. πŸ™‚ Hope that helps.

  6. Take a cup of good humour, a dash of kindness, and a pinch of charisma and mix well!

  7. Like eHarmony on FB too πŸ™‚
