Mmmm look at that steak! I am a sucker for Argentine foods (clearly a big fan of the Gaucho Grill!). Give me ceviche & empanadas or give me death. No churros for dessert? ;)

I am dying to try this place! I love a good steak - we always default to the Station in Footscray but the strip looks unreal here.

There are also great empanadas and alfajores in Sunshine, at La Morenita and South American Bakery. I did try homemade alfajores recently though and it's ruined every other one for me now!

Katy - Oh so jealous! I have never been to Argentina but MTV has been and claims it is his favourite country to the world thanks to the abundant (and cheap) steak and red wine. Have a brilliant time.

I'm off to Argentina next week and we're staying in San Telmo! From all my over-excited research, this place sounds really authentic - love the sound of that wobbly flan. And think ceviche is pretty popular in Argentina now, but I'll know for sure in a few weeks!

Nice to hear you are eating more vegetarian - even though this post was about meat :) I am travelling to the real Argentina soon, have no idea what I will eat when I'm there!
